1 More Lesson & Interview Today & Tomorrow

Okay, I just snuck into the kitchen to get some kind of dessert for my late night snack. I wish I hadn't watched the maid put the rest of it in the fridge. I knew I was gonna come back later. I don't know exactly what it is but does it really matter, it's sweet.

My friend Tom and I had an interview with a school today that works solely with executives. We would go to them and do the lessons. Tom went first and then it was me. She told Tom she already had a client for him which is early in the morning and close to his apartment. When I met with her she said she would have something for me later but it would take time.

I emailed her my resume when I got back and thanked her for seeing me. When I got home tonight she offered me a student to teach on Monday nights from 6-7:30. Heck yeah! I start next Monday so that is two gigs I have lined up (even though the first is for 3 or 4 days). First a trickle, then a stream and then a flood.

Tomorrow all of us are going through orientation at a place we filled out an application on Monday. They hire all of BridgeTEFLs students so they have a good reputation around here. It's from 9:30-11:30 and then I teach my last lesson at 4:30.

It's been a crazy week because I'm trying to finish up my last papers due Friday, interview, plan for my lessons and try to get an apartment. Lot of stuff going on but its all good because I reward myself with something sweet from time to time. Its a good thing I walk so much or I'd look like an oompa loompa. I could just roll to class every day.

I think I have an apartment lined up. It's pretty small but it will be mine. I don't need one for another 2-3 weeks but I don't want to be rushing like my classmates. Tom found one last night and paid a whole lot more than he was wanting to but he has a place.

The internet is still down at the house so I'm "borrowing" the internet from a neighbor somewhere. Its not reliable because I lose connection all the time. When I get my apartment I'll have internet there. I'll have a bigger bed too, Hallelujah! I don't care if I have to go buy some kind of fancy pillowtop mattress for the bed and pack it with me wherever I travel next, I need a comfortable bed.
